I work with anyone who is feeling stuck in their life. It is profoundly impactful to be seen and heard, to learn to approach problems with curiosity and new perspectives. While we can’t control what happens to us, we can control how we respond- and therapy is the best way to get all the tools you need to respond to life’s ups and downs. If you’re motivated and engaged in the process, therapy can give you the set of tools you need to improve (or completely change) your life. I support clients in their goals, applying psycho-education, in-depth therapeutic training, 10 years of experience, and my own personal creativity and curiosity. My clients tell me that my therapeutic style is active and engaged, conversational, and approachable. I frequently work with clients who tell me that they enjoy that our sessions are an active back and forth discussion, and that they look forward to coming to sessions. The therapeutic relationship itself is predictive of client change- not any specific therapeutic intervention. As such, my focus with clients is on creating safety and trust, so that we can talk about anything and everything comfortably (I’m also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist).
