Brianna Gomez
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
I provide trauma-focused care in spanish/english utilizing a variety of methods including TF-CBT. No one should have to face life’s challenges alone.
I’m Brianna Gomez, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern born and raised in Miami, Florida. I hold dual master’s degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana Monroe. My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed care with a strong foundation in narrative therapy. I also integrate techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), grief counseling, and attachment-based practices. This combination allows me to help clients make sense of their experiences and move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and confidence. My clinical experience comes from working in a trauma center where I have supported children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I specialize in helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting athletes in managing emotional and performance-related challenges. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to reshape your story and explore new ways of being. I believe that healing is not a linear process.
