Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Have you experienced "church hurt" or religious trauma? I help clients heal from the pain of those types of events. Schedule a consultation to learn more.
"One part of me feels this way, but another part of me feels another way..." You might have mixed feelings about where you grew up. Have you "run away" from your family or church as a form of self-protection, but still miss them? Are you left with confusion about your beliefs or how to move forward? My approach can help. I'm level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS is a treatment approach that encourages folx to notice the different, conflicting "parts" inside of you. Each part can have a different belief, feeling, or priority in your life. Rather than continuing the never-ending battle inside of you, you can use IFS to get to know your parts better, improve your relationship with yourself, and finally feel some peace. I use IFS to help clients with religious trauma, eating disorders, relationship issues, and career concerns. If any of this sounds like you, check out my website at www.bjonescounseling.com to learn more and schedule a free consultation.
