Bria Servoss
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I specialize in women's issues, CNM/poly relationships/marriage, emotional abuse, life during/after separation, sexuality & gender, and LGBTQ+ issues.
Hello! My name is Bria, and I have a passion to work with marginalized identities & experiences, such as LGBTQ+ folks, women, & BIPOC. I am poly-affirming and love helping clients build the relationship dynamics they long for when steering through the waters of open relationships. I believe that every relationship can be respectfully negotiated in order to find agreement, embrace change, and have each person's needs met. Other specialties include: processing the sea-change that a large break-up or divorce can bring, identifying and processing emotional/psychological abuse, managing the identity of "step-parent" & re-writing the script, and processing shame around sexuality. I pride myself on being trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, authentic, warm, & approachable, and I assume that you, my client, are the expert on your own life. I value challenging the status quo, the search for one's honest experience, understanding the body's wisdom & experience, and creating relationships which hold room for one's needs - while honoring the needs of others. I look forward to our work together!
