Brent Lindberg has over 20 years of experience in individual therapy treating depression and anxiety along with adult and childhood trauma.

I have two primary priorities when we work together: 1) Building a warm and trusting relationship so that therapy is a safe and enriching experience, and 2) Finding a style of therapy most effective toward providing relief. I work primarily from an integrative/interpersonal framework but I also tailor the type of therapy to the client's needs; warm and empathetic for those needing valuable emotional support, straightforward and direct for those wanting immediate and tangible results. I take pride in my flexibility to incorporate varied approaches while still effecting therapeutic change for my client. I have extensive experience working with men's issues but also specialize working with women to strengthen self-esteem and personal boundaries. I pride myself in creating a safe and healing atmosphere vital to personal growth and recovery. Lastly, I want to make therapy a positive and engaging process. For example, when appropriate, I introduce humor, Eastern philosophy, and creative strategies within the counseling session. By utilizing our collective strengths, I will help find avenues of change so we can produce the most effective and long-standing results.
