Bethany Dayton

I help adults, college students and adults navigate life's stressors. Whether it's emotional or spiritual trauma, relational issues, grief, or anxiety, I'm here to support them on their journey towards healing. My nearly 10 years experience in Christian ministry coupled with my qualifications as a counselor gives me a unique ability to address the spiritual, psychological, and emotional aspects of my clients' stories. I use trauma-informed counseling which allows me to tenderly enter into difficult parts of my client's story while honoring difficult emotions that surface. I'm here for the person who is finally ready to talk about 'the thing' they have been trying to hide from or push down. I help clients identify unmet emotional needs and find new healthy ways of getting those needs met. I have a Master's degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate supervised by Lauren Jones, LPC-Supervisor. When I am not with clients, I enjoy walks with my dog Milo, looking for the best cup of matcha in Austin.
