Beth Liljestrand

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. I use a variety of approaches including, but not limited to CBT, DBT, and trauma resolution therapy. I have a Master's in Counseling from FSU and have provided therapy services while also serving as the Clinic Director in several agencies since 1999. I have been in private practice since 2012 and am currently practicing in Tallahassee, Florida. I work diligently to create a safe environment in which to build a therapeutic relationship that is non-judgmental and empowering. I use primarily a person-centered approach and I strive to listen actively, and reflectively while offering respect for the unique needs and situations of each person.
