Board Certified Psychiatrist, experienced with university students. I welcome & affirm people of all backgrounds. In-person on Broad St. & tele-health.
My approach is warm, compassionate, wholistic, developing a trusting relationship through connection. I'm Board Certified, on faculty at Duke, and have held leadership positions in the American College Health Assoc., American Psychiatric Assoc., and North Carolina Psychiatric Assoc. I'm trained in multiple therapies including psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, & sleep CBT. Specialized practice areas are: emerging adulthood, BI-POC, social anxiety, ADHD, chronic post-concussive injury, anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia, PTSD, perfectionism, performance anxiety, procrastination, panic disorder, gender identity, sexuality, bipolar, & comorbid conditions.
