(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
What works for you may not work for someone else - this is YOUR time, and individualized treatment is a priority.
I graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2014 with my Masters in Social Work, and I have worked in providing services to clients for over 5 years. My undergraduate studies at North Carolina Central University were in nutrition, and I received my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. I have extensive experience in working with anxiety, depression, self harm behavior, trauma, and families. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents and with families, focusing on educating parents in caring for children with behavioral issues as well as developmental education. What can you expect when you work with me? In all relationships, rapport and trust is huge in the foundation in the building of a strong relationship. Therapy is no different. Providing a safe space for you to feel comfortable to be at your most vulnerable is one of my main priorities. During this time, I like to listen first and ask questions second. I will move with you through your journey in therapy, determining with you what approach works best for you. What works for you may not work for someone else - this is YOUR time, and individualized treatment is a priority. While providing you with comfort in my office, I feel that it’s important to understand that therapy can/will be uncomfortable. But, guess what? I will sit with you through all the discomfort to support you and empowers you to reach the goals you have, and to have a life you love.
