Ashley Harris
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I welcome individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For me, therapy isn’t just my profession—it’s both a passion and a mission. I believe genuine connection aids successful therapy, which means you and I show up as our authentic selves and co-create a space where you feel seen. Together, we’ll tailor therapy to your individual needs because healing is a personal journey that deserves respect and is meant to be a transformative experience where the goal is for you to bloom where you are. I support teens, young adults, adults, and fellow clinicians and other helping professionals (including those who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+). I specialize in trauma, anxiety, perinatal mental health (family planning, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, pregnancy loss or termination, and the evolving journey of parenthood), relationship challenges, major life or career transitions, adjustment to college, career stressors, and processing experiences of identity-related stress. My theoretical approach incorporates a humanistic, person-centered approach that is strengths-based so my clients and I can co-create a space where they can show up as their authentic self without judgment. I am trained in Perinatal Mental Health as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
