I have over 30 years of experience working with children, families and individuals. I value building rapport and trust in the client-therapist relationship and working with my clients to achieve their desired goals in their therapeutic journey. My experience includes working with attachment issues, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, depression, OCD, family system issues (including grandparents raising grandchildren), substance use disorder, behavior management, trauma, and domestic violence issues. I am trained in EMDR and use a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, and focus on strength-based perspective. I am proud of my Mexican heritage and have worked and supported Hispanic communities and families throughout my career. I am immersed with the Hispanic culture and understand Hispanic family systems. I have over 30 years of experience working with children, families and individuals. I enjoy working with all ages and stages of life, from 0-adults and have vast experience in working with various family systems.
