I am currently accepting new clients for both in-person and Telehealth appointments. Navigating academics and young adulthood can be very challenging and requires a lot of support. I really enjoy working with Duke students and providing part of that support during this formative time. I first sought out therapy when I was in graduate school after going through a painful breakup. Therapy helped me get through that very difficult experience as well as understand myself, work through family struggles, and grow as a person. After about 7 years of working in a different field and doing a lot of personal growth work, I decided to go back to school for a second graduate degree. I've been working with clients since 2012 and moved to Durham from NYC in 2019 (lucky, right before Covid!) My approach as a therapist is one of curiosity, connection, and compassion. I have advanced training in body-oriented psychotherapy, relational trauma, and EMDR but the most important thing I strive to provide is a place of safety where you feel heard and seen without judgement. I see clients weekly both virtually and in-person. My office is located right across from the Target on Chapel Hill Blvd in Durham.
