Together, we’ll identify the barriers, find effective tools so you can meet your goals, and help you transform your relationship to yourself and others.
You struggle with social anxiety but your tendency to isolate leaves you lonely and depressed. You hoped that achieving your academic goals would make you happy, but you struggle with imposter syndrome and fear of failure. Sometimes you wonder how others seem so comfortable in their own skin and wish you did too. I get it. Together, we’ll identify the barriers, find effective tools so you can meet your goals, and help you transform your relationship to yourself, others, and to stressful situations. My approach is one of curiosity, connection, and compassion. I have advanced training in body-oriented psychotherapy, relational trauma, and EMDR. Prior to changing careers, I completed an MPA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and was the Assistant Director of the Master's Program in Climate and Society at Columbia University. Through my own academic career and in working closely with students for many years, I am intimately familiar with the stressors of academic life and the ways it can strain our emotional well-being. I will guide you to understand yourself and your struggles in a more meaningful way and support you to make impactful changes in your thinking and behavior.
