As a therapist, I believe that the main language of children is play. I use my play therapy training to connect with children and adolescent.

Has your child or adolescent become more distant recently? Is it a battle to get your child to school every day? Is your child struggling to succeed in school and make friends? You may feel disheartened and like you are failing as a parent. There are millions of different parenting books all giving advice that seems to contradict each other. You're left feeling even more confused than when you started looking for answers. I provide a space for my clients to be heard and understood, a place where they can feel safe and can identify what they are feeling and heal their past to hopefully be able to better manage the present. I believe that emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated and that loving and accepting ourselves for who we are, scars and all, is one of the most courageous things we can do. You are worthy of love. I believe that therapy works when we are all committed to healing (therapist, child, and family). Change is possible.
