My clinical background includes a focus on patients experiencing mood disorders and mood dysregulation, and also with teens or young adults managing a chronic illness on top of other life demands. I can additionally provide bereavement and grief work focused support for teens and families experiencing loss and adjusting to major life changes. I am trained in CBT, (cognitive behavioral therapy) and in trauma-focused CBT. I have extensive experiencing working with college students and young adults through Duke Child Psychiatry , and in school settings.
