Angela Wooten

Supporting children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting, Angela Wooten focuses on helping individuals navigate various mental health challenges to become the best versions of themselves. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University and has extensive experience treating diverse psychological concerns. Angela possesses a clinical passion for working with those who have encountered traumatic life events and is specially trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to trauma-informed care, her therapeutic approach incorporates Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Faith-Based Treatment, Mindfulness, and Parenting Skills. She is dedicated to fostering a positive self-image in her patients and teaching them the skills necessary for long-term growth. Outside of her clinical work, Angela enjoys hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with her dog, family, and friends.
