Angelina (Angel) Ziegler
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Psychotherapist
I am a sex-positive Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in polyamory, kink, and LGBTQIA+ identities.
I work primarily with intimate relationships (couples, marriages, CNM relationships) and with adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with or looking to explore issues around transitions, sex and sexuality, LGBTQIA+ identity, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I enjoy helping people to think of themselves as a system living within larger systems that may be serving them or working against them. I work collaboratively with each person I meet because I think it is vital that therapy be tailored to what is best for you. My approach to therapy involves looking with you for the patterns that are maladaptive in your relationships and identifying more adaptive patterns. Together, we can explore obstacles that may be getting in the way of change and try to lift those constraints. These constraints may be more surface-level, like communication, or deeper, like internal dynamics.
