Andrew Gladstone-Highland
(He/Him/His)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I enjoy working with all kinds of people, and have specialized in working with boys and men who have been taught not to express their feelings publicly.
James Baldwin said, “Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within.” Any time is a good time to begin therapy, but I am also a firm believer that life transitions cause each of us to reflect more - losses, major changes, new relationships, break-ups or divorce, new children. I am passionate about working with men and boys, since many things in our culture discourage males from dealing with their feelings in healthy ways. I work with a wide variety of clients of many ages, people who are seeking support due to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationships. I use trauma-informed, Family Systems, and CBT approaches. I believe that many different types of therapy can be effective, but at its heart, therapy is about human connection. I would be honored to work with you.
