Andrea Lochtefeld
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I help patients gain insight into their struggles, strengths, and motivation for change to navigate stressors, relationships, and life transitions.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with ten years of experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and families. I help with anxiety, depression, dating and relationships, eating disorders, family dynamics, self-esteem issues, and trauma from a perspective inclusive of multiculturalism, sex positivity, and LGBTQIA+ identities. My guiding philosophies are patient-centered, liberatory, and culturally affirmative, and I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and meditation. Through non-judgmental, collaborative self-reflection, I help patients gain insight into their struggles, strengths, and motivation for change to better navigate stressors, relationships, and life transitions. I am also fluent in Spanish.
