Navigate anxiety, relationships, and life's transitions with greater clarity, self-understanding, and confidence.

I support adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I especially enjoy working with young adults as they navigate college, career decisions, relationships, and the process of discovering who they want to become. Together, we’ll create a supportive space to better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. My approach combines traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and body-based (somatic) practices. I believe meaningful healing happens when we pay attention to both our thoughts and our nervous system. My work is informed by Somatic Experiencing®, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Motivational Interviewing. Before entering private practice, I spent many years supporting middle and high school students and families in public education and later taught as an adjunct professor in a graduate counseling program. My experience with divorce, mediation, and co-parenting has also deepened my understanding of the complexity of relationships and the challenges that accompany major life changes. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a practical perspective to supporting clients through endings, new beginnings, and times of uncertainty. I also offer Single Session Therapy for those seeking focused support around a specific concern, decision, or life challenge. This can be a helpful option if you’re curious about therapy or would benefit from support without committing to ongoing treatment. Clients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. I value creating a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your authentic self. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, cooking, gardening, and listening to live music. Inner Edge Psychotherapy, LLC: https://www.inneredgetherapy.com/

Certificates

  • Somatic Experiencing Practitioner In Training

    Somatic Experiencing International

I’m currently in the final year of training in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-based approach that helps people develop greater awareness of how stress and difficult experiences show up in the nervous system. In therapy, we may gently incorporate attention to physical sensations, breathing, and other body-based cues alongside traditional talk therapy.

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

    UW Health Mindfulness Program

I am trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an evidence-based approach that uses mindfulness practices to help people become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. In therapy, these practices can support greater calm, self-awareness, and resilience when navigating stress and difficult emotions.
