Amanda Grover
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am accepting new clients. My practice focus is Trauma, Anxiety, Grief/Death, and Spirituality.
Treatment for my clients are as unique as they are. Two people can enter therapy for the same obstacles such as work, relationships, self-worth, unattained goals, and the list goes on. Each client can choose to approach them in drastically different ways. For example, if negative thoughts eventually lead to regrettable actions, one person may elect to use evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While the other may opt for Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique. I offer a variety of modalities to choose from that we will then piece together in a way that best works for you. If you prefer interactive and measurable, great. If you do best with telling your story and processing out loud, also great. Thankfully, in therapy it is one of the few places in life where you can put everything out there and it will be okay. I am passionate in treating: anxiety, addictive behaviors, self-harm & suicidality, death/grief, depression, and Spirituality. Modalities I use are CBT (behavior change), DBT (heavy on coping skills), EMDR (processing trauma), Hypnosis (working deep into the subconscious), and Energy Psychology (Eastern style exercises to release blockages).
