Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I offer trauma-informed, compassionate therapy, helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and align with their values in a safe, inclusive space.
Hi, I'm Alyssa Vazquez, and I’m so glad you're here! College & graduate studies can be an exciting but also overwhelming time, and I’m passionate about helping students navigate these challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, struggling with relationships, or managing the weight of past trauma, I’m here to offer support in a safe, non-judgmental space. As a therapist, I focus on helping you build self-compassion, understand your values, and find practical tools to overcome obstacles. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to guide our work. I also specialize in working with OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, and body image issues (using a Health at Every Size® approach). I believe in creating a supportive environment where you feel heard, and we can use humor and real connection to move through difficult times. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I welcome clients from all identities and backgrounds.
