Alyssa Mills is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional School Counselor. Alyssa holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from North Carolina State University. Alyssa has experience working in various settings which has allowed the opportunity to work with people at all stages of life. She has experience helping clients work through depression, anger, grief, life changes, stress, anxiety, ADHD and existential crisis. Alyssa utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach that includes techniques found in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her mission as a therapist is to focus on her client’s strengths to build confidence and empowerment to take on any challenge.
