Allison (Alli) Pongetti
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I want to create a space for you to be heard and get unstuck. I love working with college students with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, grief, & trauma.
As a college student, you are transitioning into adulthood and facing complex emotional and psychological changes. Through a client-centered approach, I foster a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. As a counselor, I tailor therapeutic interventions and draw primarily from gestalt therapy and person-centered therapy. These approaches emphasize the importance of self-awareness, personal responsibility, and the integration of mind, body, and emotions. By utilizing gestalt therapy, I help you explore your present experiences, focusing on the here-and-now, and guiding you toward self-discovery and increased self-acceptance. Through person-centered therapy, I nurture a supportive and empathetic therapeutic relationship, empowering you to tap into your inner resources and find your unique path to healing. Utilizing a holistic approach, I combine elements of gestalt therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to guide college student towards personal growth, improved self-esteem, and enhanced overall well-being. Together we will uncover your strengths, potential, and resilience.
