She is also interested in helping couples heal from relationship stress and attachment injuries. Allison has experience working with interpersonal conflict, parent coaching, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and human development. She is passionate about helping others accept their unique truth in a world full of obstacles. She understands that change can be scary and strives to create a safe space for clients as they make meaningful changes toward optimal health and wellbeing. Allison has been in the mental health field for over a decade and has two masters in the field of psychology and mental health. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health and a National Certified Counselor. Allison takes an eclectic approach to therapy pulling from several evidenced based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Allison believes in tailoring her therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of each client or family. Most importantly, she strives to create a warm and caring therapeutic environment for everyone.
