As an experiential and relational therapist, I work with you to create lasting healing through the power of connection and truly being seen.

I was previously a high school art teacher after graduating from the NCSU College of Design in 2004. The experience of being a teacher and working with my students, helped to lead me into becoming a therapist. I have a very warm and compassionate style of therapy, bringing both my training in attachment-based experiential models as well as cognitive behavioral and somatic modalities into my work with clients. I believe the relationship between the therapist and the client should be a corrective emotional experience. I love working with young and emerging adults, as well as educators. I have a special interest in working with people who have struggled in their relationships and often feel like they're pursuing while others are withdrawing. I also often work with people who struggling to feel at ease or often feel alone. I'm also passionate about working with those who are not where they want to be in life, whether that's not being in a relationship, not having children, or just feeling like you're behind your peers. If you struggle with feeling like you're "too much" or "not enough" I know what that's like and I'm here to support you in feeling seen, heard, and secure. Even if my schedule is full at the time you reach out, I make it a priority to connect you with someone I know and trust. I've grown up in this area and know my colleagues well, so if you reach out, you'll get connected to the right therapist.
