Alison Grant is a Counselor located in Evansville IN, and is accepting new patients

Alison Grant, LCSW, helps patients in Indiana find stability, resilience, and hope through compassionate and evidence-based care. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, supporting individuals and families across the lifespan who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use concerns. Alison provides individual, couples, and family therapy at LifeStance Health, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients and empowering them with tools to create meaningful change. Alison is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands the uncertainty and vulnerability that can come with transitioning back into daily life after an inpatient stay. With a grounding approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and family or couples counseling when appropriate, she helps clients build coping strategies, strengthen support systems, and regain a sense of safety and control. Her focus is always on creating a nonjudgmental, collaborative environment where clients feel heard and valued. Beyond this focus, Alison also works with individuals and families facing grief, PTSD and trauma, and complex life transitions, offering both structure and encouragement during difficult times. She serves diverse populations, including individuals in adoption or foster care, those on the autism spectrum, people with developmental disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and military members, veterans, and first responders. She is skilled at addressing not only emotional health but also the ways relationships, identity, and life stages impact well-being. Outside of her practice, Alison enjoys reading, singing, listening to music, watching movies, gardening, crafting, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. Her love of creativity and connection brings warmth and balance to her work, allowing her to relate to clients with authenticity and compassion.
