Alicia Arens, LPC, helps adults in Missouri navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and practical support. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual and couples therapy for those managing stress, anxiety, depression, or complex life transitions. Alicia works collaboratively with clients to develop personalized strategies that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and stronger relationships. Alicia treats a variety of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, helping clients understand how these conditions affect daily life and relationships. Her approach integrates evidence-based techniques with empathy, supporting clients as they build coping skills, process emotions, and achieve meaningful personal growth. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals and those navigating current legal matters. Alicia understands the unique challenges these experiences present, and she works closely with clients to establish stability, develop practical strategies, and regain confidence during transitional periods. Alicia incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Couples/Marital Counseling into her practice, as well as Parenting Skills when appropriate. She provides care for men and women, including those in the military or veterans, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and those who have experienced head injuries, offering specialized attention to diverse populations. Outside of her professional work, Alicia enjoys reading, hiking, and playing pickleball. These activities help her stay grounded and bring balance to her life, which she reflects in her therapeutic approach by fostering a sense of perspective and well-being for her clients.
