Alexis Santiago

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been providing therapy services for over a year in outpatient and private practice settings. I see individual adults, children, and teens to help address anxiety & depression, provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, effectively navigate systemic & institutional racism/oppression, heal disordered eating, comprehend & release complex trauma, understand & move through grief, manage ADHD & other neurodivergence, and explore gender & sexual identity discovery. I have a special training and interest in using integrated talk therapy for adult clients, and psychodynamic play therapy with children. I strive to provide identity-affirming therapy across multiple dimensions and offer consultation to parents or caregivers of clients who are minors. I prioritize the needs and goals of each of my clients to create a curated treatment plan that will help them grow their own skills and self-knowledge so that they may lead an intentional and fulfilled life of their own accord. I trust that my clients are the experts about their lives, and that our collaboration to find solutions and alternative ways of being can promote harmony and success.
