Alexandra Fuentes-Whitman

Alexandra works primarily with adults who need to find or reconnect with their life path. She is a proponent of natural medicine, utilizing a holistic approach to empower the body and mind to heal from emotional trauma and physical adversities in life. Working to create a safe, non-judgmental space that facilitates personal healing and growth, she acknowledges everyone has different needs and a great potential to live life at their best. She graduated with degrees of Alternative Medicine from Everglades University in Boca Raton Florida, earned a master’s degree in social work from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida, currently holds license for Body Work Provider, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. Alexandra is an easygoing professional who has experience working with individuals seeking treatment for, adjustment disorder, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, abuse, anger management, family conflict, life stages transitions and its new challenges. She is a multilingual provider (Spanish, Portuguese and English) and takes a holistic clinical approach which is customized to her clients’ needs using clinical skills including Alternative Medicine, Trauma- Focus Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Aroma Therapy, and energy therapy techniques. Alexandra’s enjoys spending time with her family, and exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina’s beaches, mountains, and parks. She has a love for new foods, traveling, fashion, and learning about new cultures.
