Aislinn Mayes
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Our time together is focused on you. I meet my clients where they are in session whether you are experiencing the highest of highs or the lowest of lows.
Hey there! I have been a therapist for 4 years. I previously worked as a school counselor for 3 years while also working part time at a group practice. Last year in 2021, I opened up my own private practice where I see children, teens and adults ranging from 5-40 years old. My speciality is helping with anxiety, life transitions, feeling burnt out and overwhelmed and helping with everyday stressors that keep adding up. I also work from a person centered, cognitive behavioral standpoint to focus on building trust and helping you reframe negative thoughts that feel burdensome thus leading to increased anxiety. Trust, rapport and the therapeutic relationship are the most important thing to build in sessions to help you feel comfortable and eager to be vulnerable and willing to challenge yourself. Let's chat and see if we make a good fit!
