Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Work (LSCSW)
Warm, inclusive psychotherapy for diverse adults, including LGBTQ+ clients, centered on safety, respect, self-understanding, and healing.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience in community mental health and private practice. While completing my graduate studies in social work at Washburn University, I also studied at the Menninger Foundation in Topeka, which contributed to the depth and clinical perspective I bring to my work. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that healing begins within a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and feelings of overwhelm or disconnection. I strive to offer a calm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and able to explore their concerns at a pace that feels right for them. My therapeutic style is thoughtful, relational, and individualized. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) concepts to help clients develop a more compassionate understanding of the different parts of themselves, while building insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.
