I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked with children, adolescents and young adults in the mental health field since 2009. Some of my areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, trauma, grief/loss, autism, gender identity, LGBTQIA, and life transitions. My work focuses on empowering clients to recognize their inner strengths and cultivate healthy mindsets. In session, I integrate elements of cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused therapy to support clients in challenging their negative thought processes, set goals and envisioning their future selves. I also use mindfulness as a way to help clients explore their present situation and find joy and peace despite their circumstances.
