Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

We provide drug and alcohol counseling based on the specific needs of young adults.

Our young adult outpatient drug and alcohol treatment abuse program provides group counseling, with groups focusing on issues specific to young adults. Here, at the facility for young adults, they gain the coping skills they will need to stay clean and sober. Each young adult admitted to this outpatient substance abuse treatment and rehab program will work with our staff to develop an individualized recovery plan, with specific goals to be met prior to discharge. Some of the most important issues addressed in the intensive outpatient substance abuse program will be: Dealing with peer pressure Identifying negative peer relationships Identification of self-defeating behaviors Building self-esteem Establishing a positive peer group Learning to have fun without drugs and alcohol Repair of trust within parent relationships Understanding of addiction and possible long-term outcomes Relapse prevention Follow up or aftercare services offer the needed ongoing support for those that complete substance abuse treatment. Pathway offers: ongoing; young adult, and family support groups in combination with aftercare sessions and counseling follow-ups.
