Inpatient unit for patients detoxing from alcohol or other substances, and those with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. We know that substance use often coexists with other treatable mental health issues and can interfere with ability to work, go to school, and have healthy, positive relationships with family and friends. In this 20-bed unit, we provide integrated treatment that is trauma-informed and recovery-focused. Peer support/self-help and family intervention are integral parts of treatment and discharge planning. Psychopharmacology is utilized for co-occurring mental health disorders and medication assisted treatment is available for substance use disorders.
