Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

At Foundations San Francisco, we provide a treatment approach that addresses all aspects of an individual’s well-being.

Intensive outpatient programs provide individuals with the support and structure needed to successfully recover from substance use disorders. They differ from traditional outpatient programs in that they offer more intensive treatment and structure. Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) provide more intensive treatment, both in terms of intensity and duration, than traditional outpatient services.
