Vladimir (Vlad) Tikhtman
(He/Him/His)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Bilingual therapist and former exec helping you navigate identity, goals, and meaning, with authenticity, practicality, and no judgment.
Hi, I’m Vlad Tikhtman. Thank you for considering me to join you on your life journey. Whether you're navigating questions of identity, career direction, relationships, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I offer a supportive space to explore these experiences openly and authentically. Before stepping into the therapy room, I spent over twenty years in high-pressure executive roles in hospital administration and healthcare technology. I understand the pressures of big goals, tight deadlines, and the risk of losing yourself along the way. My educational background includes a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, a master’s in hospital administration from the University of Michigan, and a psychology degree from DePaul University. I immigrated from the former Soviet Union as a child and grew up bilingual (Russian) in Chicago. As someone who has navigated multiple cultural identities and life transitions, I bring a deep appreciation for the complexities of culture, language, and belonging. Currently, I live in Cary, North Carolina, with my spouse and our two teens.
