I’m here to facilitate a healthy healing space to help you cope with life’s challenges, and help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

Hello, I'm Dr. Talyah Polee, DSW, LMFT. I'm a graduate of California Baptist University, holding a Doctorate in Social Work and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 7 years. My therapeutic approach consists of collaboration with clients. I provide warmth and encouragement as I assist clients in gaining a deeper awareness of themselves, including their thought patterns, feelings, and how they perceive the world around them. I specialize in an array of clinical challenges, including racial trauma, racial identity, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, attachment injuries in relationships, and many other clinical challenges. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I employ a holistic approach that incorporates mindfulness techniques, somatic techniques, and Schema Therapy. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Nevada. I also offer trauma‑focused individual therapy and support for clients dealing with burnout, life transitions, academic or career stress, and grief, serving teens, adults, couples, and families across California and Nevada. I’m in‑network with major insurers like Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare, and I offer sliding‑scale and out‑of‑network billing to help make therapy affordable. With seven years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, people of color, and performance‑focused individuals, my culturally sensitive, mindfulness‑based, somatic, and schema therapy approach is well‑suited for anyone seeking compassionate, evidence‑informed care.
