20 years in practice

I appreciate of all aspects of diversity, and philosophical and spiritual orientations. Together we can discover your inner wisdom and unique path to joy.

For 20 years I have been helping individuals and couples to heal old wounds and grow past outworn patterns into greater freedom and heart to heart connections. I have especially enjoyed helping students in a university counseling center make successful life transitions and develop their own strengths and voices in the world. I believe a compassionate, trustworthy witness of our heart's struggles is vital to developing the trust in ourselves and others that leads to growth. You will find me such a witness, welcoming all philosophical and spiritual orientations and appreciative of all aspects of diversity. Together we can discover your inner wisdom and unique path to greater joy. I offer myself as a trustworthy companion in the next phase of your life's journey. I integrate EFIT, EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Meditation, Somatic Experiencing, and Jungian-oriented projective symbolism and dreamwork to address childhood and adult trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and otherwise promote creativity in personal growth. With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, I offer couples the opportunity to explore the deep attachment needs beneath their negative cycles and experience the healing heart connection they desire.
