It's good that you're reaching out! No need to go it alone or worry about being judged. Let’s talk; get to solutions & tools to use. What matters; is you.

I was born in England but grew up in the multiethnic, multiracial and multicultural Caribbean. I attended college in Canada and since then I’ve lived in the U.S. I speak English and three other languages [but I'm not fluent] : Spanish, French and Creole. I’ve think that it’s sometimes easier to say what and how you feel to someone you don’t know. I’m down to earth about life and the problems we all face. I’m also pretty direct but always caring. It’s okay if we laugh and definitely okay to cry. I first learned about psychology as a socially awkward teenager. I began to understand my thoughts and feelings, how our minds worked and what we could do with that knowledge. Now I use what’s called a cognitive-behavioral approach. It’s a way of helping you look at how you’re thinking about your problems and how those thoughts influence your feelings, reactions and behavior to issues, people or situations in your life. Then we put in specific tools or ways to manage things so you can use this toolbox in everyday life! Lastly, I offer office visits or virtual/telehealth appointments.
