Ruchi Bhargava
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
Welcome! I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based treatment into my work, relying most heavily on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Solutions Focused Therapy. Therapeutic techniques are only one aspect of a psychologist’s approach. I truly want to establish a good 'fit' with each of my clients. The therapeutic relationship is a key component in healing. I strive to create a warm, trusting, supportive relationship with my clients while providing a secure environment. I work together with clients to help create goals and find solutions to overcome difficulties. I work collaboratively with other relevant care providers when appropriate, including primary care physicians/pediatricians, psychiatrists, and school personnel. It is my hope that I can work together with you and your family to help bring about change and create a more positive future. I was born and raised in the suburbs of New York. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Psychology and completed a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Gallaudet University. I worked within the Midwestern University, Glendale Campus clinical psychology program for 13 years and had a private practice in Glendale, AZ for 6 years. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and I am credentialed with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
