Purnima Karki
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I believe that healing is not just about managing symptoms — it’s about returning to wholeness.
Namaste! My name is Purnima, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Born and raised in Nepal, and having moved to the U.S. as a teenager, I bring a deeply rooted understanding of what it means to live between worlds — to carry cultural expectations while also navigating personal longing, identity, and healing. My therapeutic work is grounded in the belief that healing is a return to wholeness — not just the relief of symptoms, but a gentle homecoming to your true self. Rooted in the Nepali word “Sampurna,” meaning complete, my approach honors the full human experience: body, mind, spirit, and relationship. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, disconnection, trauma, or relationship struggles, I offer a space that is warm, culturally sensitive, and grounded in compassion. I enjoy working with college-aged adults working through identity development, relationship challenges, and the stress of being a college student.
