(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
I am a trauma-informed therapist with a feminist and social justice lens, who specializes in working with college and graduate students.
I will support your healing through a collaborative process of uncovering and understanding how past experiences have shaped your current feelings, behaviors and relationships, and share practical tools to help you feel better now. I will use empathy, humor and humility to connect with you through non-judgment and acceptance. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Brainspotting. I also have training in transgender mental health, and happily write letters of support for gender-affirming medical care. I work to increase my own awareness of and resistance to the systems that perpetuate structural inequities. As a white, cis-gender woman, I am committed to cultural humility and an ongoing examination of my own privilege. I hope that by working with clients of many backgrounds and identities I can contribute to multiple forms of healing both individually and in communities. My past life experiences include working with first generation, international, LGTBQ+ and BIPOC students in campus mental health, studying the history of immigration to the U.S, teaching English in China and the U.S., and increasing access to reproductive healthcare, HIV/AIDS prevention and case management.

Somatic Experiencing International
SE is an approach to the resolution and healing of trauma, developed by Dr. Peter Levine and is supported by research. It is based upon body awareness, "felt sense," and breaking experiences down into small steps to assist clients in "renegotiating" traumatic experiences and become more regulated.
EMDR Institute
EMDR, developed by Francine Shapiro, is an evidence-based, clinician led, psychotherapy for PTSD. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (eyes, hands, sounds) to process traumatic memories and reduce the distress related to disturbing memories.
Brainspotting/ David Grand
Brainspotting, developed by David Grand, grew out of EMDR, and utilizes points in the client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. Brainspotting also incorporates elements of SE, can be utilized for many issues.
