Mary (Eileen) Filippone
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
I take a compassionate, non-judgmental stance to help you address your concerns, needs and desired outcomes.
Life can be difficult for even the most fortunate individuals. You may struggle with life transitions such as a death, divorce, job change, or relationship problems. You may experience feelings of inadequacy, depression, and loss of confidence when trying to confront these challenges. When challenges become a source of stress, it is common to struggle with feelings of failure, insecurity, shame, and loneliness. I take a compassionate, non-judgmental stance to help you address your concerns, needs and desired outcomes. My aim is to help you gain the clarity, strategies, and confidence to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. I have 11 years experience as a licensed therapist and have worked with a wide array of individuals and families. I have additional training in trauma, EMDR, divorce mediation, family/couple relationships, and EFT (emotionally focused therapy). I have experience working with CBT, DBT, as well as Trauma Informed Therapy. I understand that taking the first step to get help is often the hardest. When we are suffering we often feel ashamed, have self-doubt, low self-esteem, and may wonder if trusting another person with our truth will be safe. I understand these feelings and recognize that you may feel vulnerable as you begin your journey of healing and growth.
