I'm a clinical psychologist and primarily work with Duke students providing therapy and psychological and psychoeducational assessments.

I believe it's incredibly important for there to be a good fit between the client and therapist, both in terms of personality and with the therapist's approach. I have an eclectic approach, but focus on cognitive behavioral (including DBT) and interpersonal process therapies. I’m in network only for the Duke Student Insurance plan but will file on clients’ behalf to help them get reimbursed if they are out of network. I'm happy to talk by phone briefly before we meet to answer any questions.
