Dr. Sarnell is a clinical and sport psychologist who specializes in helping athletes cope with anxiety and perform up to their potential.
Dr. Sarnell is a licensed psychologist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina with over 10 years of experience. She provides individual therapy for teens, young adults, and adults, focusing on anxiety, athletic performance, and eating concerns. Dr. Sarnell offers telehealth services across PSYPACT states and accepts out-of-pocket payments. Dr. Sarnell became interested in sport psychology through her personal experience as a Division I lacrosse goalie, and she enjoys working with athletes at all levels. She understands the emotional rollercoaster of competitive sports and wants to make sure you have the resources and skills needed to feel your best. She'll work with you to find a set of resources that feels both feasible given your busy schedule and effective, from individual sessions to team sessions to self-paced courses. Dr. Sarnell has extensive experience working with elite athletes. She offers individual therapy and sport psych consultation via telehealth (zoom sessions), which allows her to accommodate busy schedules and work with clients in over 40 states.
