Lindsay Sanner
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
As a therapist, Lindsay works with her clients to help them gain insight and move forward in life.
Lindsay is a licensed specialist clinical social worker and registered play therapist. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. While Lindsay has experience working with many issues, she is currently focusing on both children and adults struggling with symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She has attended the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in Philadelphia with the International OCD Foundation. She is also currently participating in consultation with the Director of Child OCD, Anxiety and Tic Disorders Program at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She has experience working with all ages: toddlers to the elderly, and everyone in between. Lindsay believes therapy is a unique experience for each person, so she provides an individualized therapeutic approach to meet each client’s specific needs. Lindsay’s previous experience includes running an after-school program in downtown Kansas City; social work in the child welfare system; working in a low-income senior citizens’ home; and providing therapy at a community mental health center. Lindsay currently serves on the Board of the Kansas Association of Play Therapy and was previously a member of the Board of Directors for the Sunlight Children’s Advocacy and Rights Foundation. She is currently a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Kansas Association of Social Workers.
