Psychologist
I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals and forge the life that you deserve and envision.
I specialize in working with people of diverse backgrounds who struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship problems due to a history of childhood trauma. With over a decade working in university counseling centers, I also have extensive experience helping college students transition in and out of college with a focus on getting to know and understand themselves better and making choices that are consistent with their goals and values. Lastly, I have expertise in Eye-Movement and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), an effective evidence-based treatment for resolving recent or past trauma including attachment and relational trauma. I care a great deal about my clients and I am strongly committed to providing a non-judgmental and accepting space for you to share your thoughts and feelings and begin to make changes that will decrease suffering and improve your quality of life. Together, we will identify thinking, emotional, and behavioral patterns contributing to your presenting problems and will work on practicing new ways of responding with the goal of healing and improving your relationship with yourself and others. As a bilingual therapist, I’m able to provide therapy services in Spanish as needed. I offer in office and telehealth sessions. Feel free to call or email me for a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs and how I can help you.
