I provide mental health and substance abuse counseling in Kansas and Texas. Helping you through the forest and into the clearing of your mind.

Hello. My name is Kathi Boren. I am a mom of three adult daughters and grandmother of three grandchildren. I love dogs and motorcycles. I have been practicing substance abuse counseling for 15 years. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient treatment. I started practicing mental health work 7 years ago. I am a dual diagnosis therapist which simply means I treat the whole individual. I do not believe substance abuse and mental health should be two different practices. It all wraps into the individual person and everyone starts using for a reason. I use a variety of therapy techniques including EMDR, CBT, and Client Centered approaches. I also teach anger management and co-parenting classes as well. Individual, family, or group counseling styles are administered. Services can be provided in person or televideo. I look forward to meeting you.
