I look forward to hearing your story and working together to find more helpful ways of experiencing life.

To be a companion alongside someone seeking support or help is a humbling task. When you choose to begin that connection with me, I hold that decision with respect, recognizing several things: the courage it takes to reach out, the strength and wisdom you bring with you from your lived experiences, and an understanding that therapy is a collaborative process in which we each have important roles. For most of my career I have primarily been a generalist. My work is influenced by a number of streams, including solution-focused approach; mindfulness; how anxiety, stress and trauma impact the brain; noticing how our thoughts and feelings work in concert to affect our behavior and choices; how the stories we tell shape our views of self and the world. Relationship is foundational to the work I do. My hope is to create a physical and emotional space where you feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. Out of that, we can begin a process together of determining what is most important to you, and how to take steps that move toward the changes you want to experience.
