Jill Blake
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am passionate about helping people be the best versions of themselves. I work with individuals ages 10 and up.
Hello! I'm Jill Blake, LSCSW. I have been working with children, adolescents and families for the past 13 years. Guiding families through difficult times with care and compassion, I strive to provide a safe, relaxed, and empowering environment. I'm a graduate of Washburn University. I began my career working with incarcerated juvenile offenders. I have also served as a school social worker in school districts across Jackson and Shawnee Counties. I specialize in working with children who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, conduct disorders, ADHD, and Autism. I work together with parents/caregivers to build a stronger foundation and help find balance in their everyday lives. I also specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, break-ups and divorce. Working through big life transitions and providing skills to help for a successful future is my goal in working with adult clients. I utilize Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I provide a safe space for clients to express and explore their emotions, thoughts and feelings.
